An exciting new release of an old book with a collection of watercolors. Now free online.

Early English Water-Colour Drawings

The Project Gutenberg eBook of Early English Water-Colour Drawings of the Great Masters, by Alexander Joseph Finberg

This book was recently released on Project Gutenberg. It is a book filled with reproductions of watercolor drawings that originally were printed in 1919. By today’s standards, the reproduction quality is poor, but it is well worth looking at to see many works by J.M.W. Turner, J. R. Cozens, Thomas Girtin, and other artists. Everyone should be aware of Project Gutenberg and consider supporting their work. The book is in the public domain and can be read online.
