4.75″ Tall, holds 10 ounces, Ceramic Cup. Artist’s proof. It has a hand textured and stained finish, that was sealed in clear gloss. The copper stain on the outside subtly shows through the clear over glaze. Hand built and spun in a red high iron content clay called Terra Red.  One of a kind. Not in production.

52. Mojave Cup
4.75″ Tall, holds 10 ounces, Ceramic Cup with handle. Artist’s proof. Not in production.
The Mojave Cups are inspired by the California desert. Hand built and textured to mimic the rough and colorful feel of walking on desert sand. It was spun on a wheel to smooth out the rim, but it is not perfectly round and has a nice heft. This cup is a reflection of the California desert that shimmers in the twilight and has now been made solid in ceramic.
Cone 6, Terra Red clay, Artisan Powder Blue glaze inside. Artisan Clear glaze over washes of color oxides and stains. Heavy texture from custom made PandaBoo ball.

Ceramics fired to cone 5 & 10 oxidation.
