The Cima Volcanic Mountain 3 Bowl Set is the result of glaze experimentation where the color results did not end up as expected. The swirl inside was supposed to be a red called brandywine but due to an interesting chemical reaction they are warm gray. The outside was supposed to be a seafoam green but again an interesting chemical reaction resulted in black. I was not pleased in the beginning but now I see them in a better light. They are inspired by the California desert. I named them after a volcanic area in Mojave California, Cima Volcanic Field.
Cone 5, BeeMix 5 clay, Artisan Powder Blue glaze inside. Artisan Clear glaze over texture from my custom-made PandaBoo ball.
