2.5″ Tall by 5″ Wide, Ceramic Bowls. Artist’s proof.
The 116 & 118 Bonita Falls Bowl Set is named after a popular place to cool off in the Mojave Desert. It is on Lytle Creek in San Bernadino California. The glaze is an opalescent white that has some warm yellow tones of titanium. The floating blue is caused by a reaction of the iron in the clay with the titanium in the glaze. *Note: bowl number 118 has a flaw in the bottom where the clay cracked while drying. My opinion is that it is a functional flaw and I could not bring myself to discard it. I hope someone enjoys this set. Terra red clay fired to cone 6.
